The kite spot of Prea is located north of Fortaleza (at least 4 hours drive) and only a few kilometers south of Jericoacoara. Like the Brazilian Northeast, the spot stretches over miles and miles of white sand beach, swept by strong and regular side-onshore winds. In short, Prea is a purely kitesurfing destination on the other side of the world, and a stone's throw from Jericoacoara which can be reached by kite via a fabulous downwinder.
